Review: Misugar on Florida Road

Misugar on Florida Road

If you’re looking for a restaurant that combines incredible food with jaw-dropping decor, Misugar on Florida Road is it. Walking into the space felt like stepping into a dream—a floral wonderland with calming nature-inspired touches everywhere. From the moment I arrived, I could tell this wasn’t going to be an ordinary meal.

The staff were warm and attentive, making me feel right at home. They didn’t just take my order; they guided me through the menu with so much passion and knowledge. It’s rare to see a team so enthusiastic about what they’re serving, and it made the experience even more special.

Now, about the food—it was an adventure from start to finish. I started with their crispy chicken and mushroom dumplings. Perfectly golden on the outside and packed with flavor, they came with a sweet chili sauce that tied everything together beautifully. Next came the chicken noodles with rice cakes. This dish was hearty, flavorful, and comforting, with fried eggs and fresh cucumber relish adding the perfect touch to balance the heat.

But the desserts? The desserts stole the show. Misugar takes sweets to another level with creations that are both imaginative and delicious. I tried the golden taro roll, a delicate rice pastry filled with sweet taro, and the sweet tatoe bites—crispy potato fritters stuffed with red bean paste and cheese. I also loved the sesame green delight, a mung bean pastry with a nutty sesame green custard center. But my absolute favorite was the golden milk bites. Picture sweet spring rolls filled with creamy milk and lightly dusted with sesame seeds. They were warm, crispy, and utterly addictive.

Then came the show-stoppers. The chocolate snow ice was a dreamy dessert with shaved frozen milk topped with chocolate shavings, fresh cream, coconut jelly, an Oreo biscuit, and chocolate sauce. It was indulgent yet light—the perfect balance. The dream jelly bowl was equally amazing, with grape and original jelly, coconut pudding, boba, tapioca pearls, brown sugar pearls, and fresh watermelon. I paired mine with traditional milk tea, and it was pure bliss.

Misugar isn’t just a place to eat; it’s a full sensory experience. The peaceful ambiance, the thoughtful decor, the warm service, and the creative dishes make it unforgettable. Whether you’re in the mood for something familiar or want to explore bold new flavors, Misugar has it all. I’m already planning my next visit!
